Land & Sea Package Highlights Rockland’s Iconic Treasure

History buffs and sailors alike will be excited about the  Sea Scape  portion of the package, which includes a three- to six-day cruise on one of the twelve venerable vessels of the Maine Windjammer Fleet. Most of the windjammers are turn-of-the-century wooden cargo schooners that have been retrofitted to carry passengers. Guests can help sail the ship, if they like, or just sit back and watch the islands and lighthouses slip by. Creature comforts like cozy cabins, hot showers and delicious meals are all included, along with gorgeous scenery and abundant wildlife. There’s plenty of time to go ashore and explore, and one night features a traditional beachside lobster bake.
