Welcome to our windjammer family! From the moment you step aboard Mary Day, our goal is to make you feel at home. With lots of time to chat and get to know each other while sailing the coast, we find that friendships afloat develop much faster than on land. No wonder passengers who meet on Mary Day often schedule reunions on board for a sailing vacation the following year.
WINDJAMMER SAILING IS ABOUT SIMPLE PLEASURES
Your days will be spent savoring the beautiful passing scenery of the Camden coast; reading a good, thick paperback; helping tend the sails, learning a bit of coastwise sailing navigation, or even taking a turn at the wheel of a windjammer under sail; and simply reveling in the rest and relaxation of a Maine vacation. Once we have arrived at our new anchorage, there’s time to explore ashore or poke about with one of our rowing boats, paddleboards or kayaks. Go for a run or hike along the Maine shore, go bird watching, take an invigorating swim. After a hearty dinner, gather by the fire for a bit of homemade music, game of cards or nestle on deck under a blanket only to be entertained by the twinkling of stars above. Leave your cares behind and enjoy the simple life once again.
